Video Content Manager/Reporter

Full-time | Budapest | Hungary

We are looking for an organized and self-motivated Video Content Manager/Reporter who has a superb command of both digital & video management. Extensive experience includes managing several projects at the same time through the entire project life cycle from creative brief to asset delivery, as well as working collaboratively with our Research, Marketing and Production departments. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, solution-oriented, and an excellent multi-tasker as this position is responsible for simultaneously managing multiple projects with varying scopes.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day to day running of the department(s), managing established schedules through production planning, coordination and troubleshooting
  • Arrange interviews with people who can provide information about HR and technology
  • Interview guests in an engaging, exciting, and accurate manner
  • Conduct research for facts and credibility
  • Work with external production in sending and receiving files and keeping milestone schedules on target
  • Review product, identify and correct errors
  • Review requests to ensure accuracy. Communicate directly with various departments and team members when questions or issues arise
  • Write and produce stories that people will want to read and share.  Be obsessed with figuring out what people are sharing and talking about online
  • Determine a story's emphasis, length and format, and organize material accordingly
  • Research and analyze background information related to HR and technology in order to be able to provide complete and accurate information
  • Craft smart, appealing, and accurate headlines
  • Broadcast from live remotes
  • Ensure all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality
  • Manage electronic delivery of all programs and assets to multiple platforms, and communicate technical requirements between various Production Executives and Production Teams (e.g. YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, etc)
  • Quality-control final delivery of all assets before delivery to clients and various platforms for both production and marketing with special attention to the following areas: graphics, subtitles, closed captions, special effects, color, and audio levels
  • Experience as a Content Manager, Producer in TV, Events or digital media company
  • Prior on-air experience is necessary, preferably in a talk format
  • Being comfortable in front of the camera, ability to lead conversations with confidence
  • Ability to complete projects accurately and in a timely manner
  • Excellent written English and oral communication skills
  • Working under strict deadlines, the Content Manager must be able to prioritize projects and workload
  • Four-year college or university degree.
